Sharon Hung, PMP, is a project manager with the Virginia Literacy Partnerships team, which aims to promote literacy and education in the state of Virginia. Hung earned her law degree from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, Venezuela, and worked in various roles in the private sector before finding her calling as a project manager. She obtained a Project Management Professional certificate from the Project Management Institute. Hung's passion for education led her to volunteer for several years at her children's school, where she observed the challenges facing teachers and students. She wanted to be part of the solution and believed that education is the cornerstone of any society. With her project management skills and passion for education, Hung made a career transition to the education sector.
