Bio

Richard Marks, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Virginia’s Center for Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning (CASTL). He received his Ph.D. from Florida State University. Richard’s research focuses on young children with ASD and, specifically, how the development of cognitive and social skills relates to the development of early language and emergent literacy skills. His research interests also include examining the structure theory of mind abilities, and how that information can be used to develop more effective interventions for young children with ASD.
