Jissel Anaya

Research Scientist

Jissel Anaya is a Research Scientist at the Virginia Literacy Partnerships (VLP). She received her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. At the VLP office, Jissel leads efforts to develop and pilot the Spanish literacy screener. Her research interests include language development and the assessment and treatment of Spanish-English bilingual children with language and literacy disorders.
