Jennifer Stewart

Jennifer Stewart, PhD is an IES postdoctoral fellow at the Virginia Literacy Partnerships (VLP). She received her PhD from Southern Methodist University. Her current research focuses on observations of literacy instruction and behavior supports for students at the intersection of autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability, administrator perceptions of providing multi-tiered systems of support, and participation and assessment for students with intellectual disability on universal screening measures. Jennifer has also spent time as both a special education teacher and behavioral therapist.
