Education and Outreach Manager

Rebecca Scott is an Education and Outreach Manager at the Virginia Literacy Partnerships (VLP). She received her master's in education and Reading Specialist Certification from Liberty University. Prior to working with Virginia Literacy Partnerships, Rebecca spent 22 years in education as a classroom teacher, library media specialist, reading specialist, literacy coach, and curriculum specialist in both middle and elementary school settings. Rebecca is passionate about middle school literacy and works to impact students and educators in that field. Her professional interests include encoding and decoding, vocabulary and language, and reading across the content areas.
