Rainey Blackwell-Bullock

Blackwell-Bullock, M.Ed., is an Education and Outreach Specialist for the Virginia Literacy Partnerships (VLP). Currently, she leads professional learning video projects and the development of asynchronous training tutorials for the literacy screeners, as well as creates professional learning resources. Rainey also supports efforts to develop Virginia’s new literacy screener and led code-based content development for English PreK-3. Previously, Rainey served as the PALS K-3 Coordinator, a Reading Specialist, and classroom teacher. She is dedicated to developing evidence-based literacy assessments and instructional resources and has a passion for using instructional design to support professional learning.
