Julie Young

Education and Outreach Manager

Julie is an Education and Outreach Manager at the Virginia Literacy Partnerships (VLP). She received her Master of Education and Reading Specialist Endorsement from Liberty University. At the VLP office, Julie collaborates with other members of the VLP office to provide professional development and resources to school districts across the state. Her professional interests include science based reading research, building teacher capacity in the foundational skills of early literacy, coaching and promoting systemic change to meet the needs of all learners.
