Jamie Hammond

Education and Outreach Manager

Jamie is an Education and Outreach Manager at the Virginia Literacy Partnerships (VLP) supporting the implementation of the Virginia Literacy Act and providing professional learning for educators. As a former primary teacher and reading specialist she has spent her career advocating for equity through literacy. Her interest areas include; structured literacy, assessment and intervention, MTSS, trauma informed teaching, culturally and linguistically diverse learners, and early childhood.
