Bio

Dukjae Lee, Ph.D., is a Research Scientist at the Virginia Literacy Partnerships (VLP) from Daegu, South Korea. He received his Ph.D. in Research, Educational Measurement, and Psychometrics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass). Dukjae has participated in various research projects at UMass such as data visualization, differential item functioning, and process data examination. At the VLP office, he assists in psychometric analyses to help the team support literacy development for children PK-3 across Virginia. His research interests include educational data analysis, international large-scale assessments, statistical modeling, and test translation/adaptation. Dukjae is also interested in learning foreign languages such as French and Spanish. He has a lot of experience in translating and interpreting languages between Korean and other languages (e.g., English, French).
