Chris Edwards

Research Specialist Intermediate

Chris Edwards, M.A., is a Research Specialist Intermediate for the Virginia Literacy Partnerships (VLP). He received his M.A. in TESOL from American University. For VLP, Chris collects, cleans, and maintains data for the screener pilots; programs and maintains our Qualtrics platforms; performs data validity reviews; assists with a wide variety of other data management tasks. His professional interests revolve around helping develop a more literate Generation Alpha. Before joining VLP, Chris spent time as an EIRI Early Reading Interventionist and a university level instructor of reading for academic purposes in Iraq.
