Breana (Bree) Ragland

Breana Ragland is a Research Specialist at the Virginia Literacy Partnerships (VLP). She received her bachelor’s degree in political science with an additional focus in elementary education from Virginia Polytechnic University. Prior to her work in the VLP office, Bree spent time directly in classrooms working with preschool and K-5 students throughout her time at Virginia Tech. Bree currently works on both the Literacy screener and ReadWell projects to help gather data for future revisions and implementation. She looks forward to taking a more active role in additional projects and areas of research where she can be most helpful, including helping teachers in the field access and navigate new pilot test materials.
