Education and Outreach Manager
Bio
Anne Etten is an Education and Outreach Manager at Virginia Literacy Partnerships (VLP). She received her undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, and her M.Ed. from the University of Virginia. At the VLP office, Anne leads a team of educators from VLP and VDOE in the curriculum review process, one lever of the Virginia Literacy Act. She has also worked to develop some components of the new literacy screener, particularly the oral language comprehension tasks. Anne has experience as both a middle school ELA teacher as well as an elementary school reading specialist.
