Education and Outreach Manager
Bio
Amy Wolford, M.Ed. is an Education and Outreach Manager at the Virginia Literacy Partnerships (VLP). She received her M.Ed. from the University of Virginia. Additionally, she is endorsed as a K-12 Reading Specialist through the Virginia Department of Education. At the VLP office, Amy works collaboratively with other team members on efforts to support educators and school districts across the state of Virginia. Her professional interests include instructional coaching and evidence-based literacy instruction, with a focus on supporting children with dyslexia and other reading difficulties. Amy has also spent time as a general education teacher, interventionist, professional learning facilitator, and reading coach.
